Rafael Grigorian School of Ballet feels that students should have a variety of experiences to grow into better dancers and most importantly to be inspired in their art form. We currently offer beginning to advanced classes for dancers as young as 3 years old through teen and adult age groups.
Rafael Grigorian School of Ballet provides students the opportunity to learn skills and processes needed to bring an original, creative work to life with master classes and summer intensives. Mirroring professional artistic practices and using curriculum that blends creative movement and choreographic tools, students work as a class to create their own dance.
Our instructors provide a creative process and classroom culture which empowers students as creative agents while building community, connection, and collaboration within the studio.
The Rafael Grigorian Ballet School is an invaluable resource for local dancers in their ballet training as the experience that Southern Tier students gain in performing roles with the company, helps them make their entry to world-class ballet programs at the Kirov Academy of Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. The school has also produced ballet teachers, performers, and artists who have gone on to both recreational and professional careers within the ballet world.
Our mission is to partner with parents and students to meet the individual needs of each dancer whether it be recreational or on a national competitive level.
Our classes will inspire students to create and express themselves in a safe and supportive environment. We strive to create the self discipline and confidence that is required to achieve success in today’s society.
Our renowned faculty inspires young dancers through music, movement, and classical ballet technique. We strive to educate all of our students in a healthy and positive environment, and to share with them the rewards of this extraordinary art form.
